THE FOUNDATION HAS INITIATIVES THAT EMPOWER YOUTH.THE NBNY NATION BUILDING FOR NATIVE YOUTH LEADERSHIP TRAINING PROGRAM'NEXT' NEW EXTRAORDINARY LEADERSHIP PROGRAMINNOVATIVE AND HIGH IMPACT LEADERSHIP INSTITUTES/ACADEMIES, WORKSHOPS, MOTIVATIONAL SPEECHES AND COALITION BUILDING. THE FOUNDATION'S PRIMARY FOCUS HAS BEEN DEVELOPING SELF-ESTEEM, RESILIENCE, AND LEADERSHIP SKILLS AMONG NATIVE AMERICAN AND MINORITY YOUTH--ACTIVITIES WHICH GUIDE THEM TO SEEK AND BECOME FUTURE LEADERS IN THEIR COMMUNITIES. WE JUST SHOT A DOCUMENTARY ABOUT OUR NBNY TRAINING THAT WILL BE USED FOR A PRESENTATION ON HOW WE CAN AND WILL REVOLUTIONIZE EDUCATION BY PRIORITIZING A) THE UNIQUE CREATIVITY OF EACH STUDENT AND B) THE LEADERSHIP SKILLS TO TURN THEIR INDIVIDUAL CREATIVITY INTO A COMMUNITY OR BUSINESS PRODUCT.CHAMPIONS AGAINST BULLYING NEW PARTNERSHIP WITH PHOENIX FIRST LADY NICOLE STANTON AND HER ORGANIZATION, STOP BULLYING AZ. OUR GOAL IS TO REACH AND PRESENT ESTABLISHED AND PROVEN OLWEUS STOP BULLYING PROGRAMS IN 12 SCHOOLS AND 6 DISTRICTS THIS YEAR. ACTUALLY DID 25 SCHOOLS IN 15 DISTRICTS IN MISSOURI, KANSAS AND ARIZONA WITH NEW OPPORTUNITIES DEVELOPING WITH THE NFL AND ACROSS THE COUNTRY, INCLUDING HAWAII AND CALIFORNIA.GLOBAL VILLAGE CHAMPIONS ON DECEMBER 27TH, 2012 WE ANNOUNCED WITH GVC INTERNATIONAL AMBASSADOR EVANDER HOLYFIELD "CHRISTMAS IN JANUARY" BEGINNING IN PHOENIX AT ST VINCENT DE PAUL'S A COMMITTMENT TO FEED THE HOMELESS FOR THE FIRST WEEK OF EVERY YEAR FOR THE NEXT GENERATION(20 YEARS).SHARON LECHTER'S FINANCIAL ACUMEN GAME, THRIVETIME. STATEWIDE SUMMIT, WITH PROPOSALS TO THE BOYS AND GIRLS CLUBS AND YMCA'S TO DEVELOP A LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM INTERGERATED WITH THE THRIVETIME FINANCIAL ACUMEN GAME. EXPANDING FROM 25 HIGH SCHOOLS IN 2012'S TOURNAMENT TO 75 HIGH SCHOOLS IN 2013. TESTIFIED BEFORE SENATE COMMITTEE ON EDUCATION TO PASS LEGISLATION TO REQUIRE FINANCIAL LITERACY IN ARIZONA SCHOOLS. PASSED SENATE AND HOUSE 59-0 AND SIGNED BY GOVERNOR BREWER.
