THE FOUNDATION WORKS VERY CLOSELY WITH THE POLICE AND FIRE DEPARTMENTS TO ENGAGE AND PROVIDE SERVICES TO THE COMMUNITY. THE MINI THERAPY HORSES OF THE FOUNDATION (HAMLET, HONOR, PANDA & BEAN) PARTNER WITH FIRST RESPONDERS TO ASSIST THOSE WHO ARE EXPERIENCING TRAUMA, WHO ARE ILL OR NEAR END OF LIFE TO ENGAGE THE PUBLIC AND TO FURTHER OPEN THE LINES OF COMMUNICATION BETWEEN FIRST RESPONDERS AND LOCAL COMMUNITIES. THE GOAL IS TO PROMOTE AND BRING TO LIGHT THE INCREDIBLE WORK THAT THE FIRST RESPONDERS AND THERAPY HORSES DO IN THE COMMUNITY EVERY DAY. THE MINI HORSES OF THE FOUNDATION HAVE BEEN CLEARED TO WORK IN NYC HOSPITALS AND ARE ABLE TO WORK WITH INJURED VETERANS AND FIRST RESPONDERS AS PART OF THEIR PHYSICAL THERAPY RECOVERY PLAN.
