LALH BOOKS EDUCATE THE PUBLIC, MOTIVATING STEWARDSHIP OF SIGNIFICANT PLACES AND THE ENVIRONMENT, AND THEY INSPIRE NEW DESIGNS THAT CONNECT PEOPLE WITH NATURE.

BOOKS:THE NEW LALH IMPRINT WAS LAUNCHED WITH THE FOLLOWING BOOKS: BEAUTY OF THE WILD; ESSAYS ON LANDSCAPE; WALK AND TALKS OF AN AMERICAN FARMER (PAPERBACK EDITION); MISSION 66 (PAPERBACK EDITION); LANDSCAPES OF EXCLUSION (PAPERBACK EDITION); JOHN NOLEN, LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT (PAPERBACK EDITION); NEW TOWNS FOR OLD (PAPERBACK EDITION). THREE ADDITIONAL BOOKS -- OLMSTED AND YOSEMITE; WRITING THE CITY; RESCUE AND RECOVERY -- WERE PUT INTO PRODUCTION FOR 2022 PUBLICATION.INTERIOR DESIGN FOR MARJORIE CAUTLEY, LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT FOR THE MOTOR AGE WAS COMPLETED; PUBLICATION IS SCHEDULED FOR OCTOBER 2022.


EDUCATIONAL OUTREACH:VIEW 2021 WAS PUBLISHED AND MAILED TO APPROXIMATELY 1,000 RECIPIENTS. FRANCES R. KOWSKY WAS NAMED 2021 PRESERVATION HERO. A NEW WEBSITE WAS LAUNCHED IN MARCH 2021.
