THE SHEPARD SCHOOL IS A STATE APPROVED SCHOOL FOR HANDICAPPED STUDENTS. THE STUDENTS ARE PROVIDED WITH A PROGRAM DESIGNED TO IMPROVE EACH STUDENT'S ACADEMIC FUNCTIONING AND BEHAVIOR TO A LEVEL WHERE THEY WILL BE ABLE TO BE SUCCESSFULLY RE-INTERGRATED INTO THE PUBLIC SCHOOLS. THE PROGRAM IS DESIGNED FOR STUDENTS CLASSIFIED AS STUDENTS WITH BEHAVIORAL DISABILITIES BETWEEN THE AGES OF 6 AND 21. THE AVERAGE DAILY ENROLLMENT FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING JUNE 30, 2021 WAS 67 STUDENTS.
