THE MUSEUM BUILDING REMAINED CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC FROM JANUARY 1 THROUGH DECEMBER 31, 2021 DUE TO THE EFFECTS OF THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC AND PLANNED RENOVATIONS. AS NYS REGULATIONS ALLOWED, THE MUSEUM OPENED OUTDOOR PROGRAMMING TO OFFER FAMILIES SOCIALLY DISTANCED HANDS ON PROGRAMS AS WELL AS OUR POUGHKEEPSIE WATERFRONT MARKET. THE MUSEUM WELCOMED APPROXIMATELY 5,000 VISITORS FOR THESE PROGRAMS.
