TO PROMOTE THE INTEREST OF COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTERS IN NEW JERSEY THROUGH JOINT ACTION IN AREAS SUCH AS FUNDING, EDUCATION, AND TRAINING FOR STAFFS, DIRECTORS, PROMOTION OF LIAISON WITH CONSUMER AND PROVIDER GROUPS, AND TO WORK TOWARD QUALITY CARE FOR CLIENTS.

NEW JERSEY PRIMARY CARE ASSOCIATION, INC. (NJPCA) IS A NOT-FOR-PROFIT CORPORATION THAT REPRESENTS THE ORGANIZATIONAL PROVIDERS AND AFFILIATES OF COMMUNITY-BASED AMBULATORY HEALTHCARE, SPECIFICALLY FOCUSING ON FQHCS, IN THE STATE OF NEW JERSEY. THE ASSOCIATION HAS AS ITS PRIMARY GOAL THE EXPANSION AND PROVISION OF QUALITY, COST-EFFECTIVE AND EFFICIENT PRIMARY HEALTHCARE AND SEEKS NEW AND EXPANDED REVENUE SOURCES FOR THESE SERVICES.THE NJPCA NOW OVERSEES 23 FQHCS IN THE STATE OF NEW JERSEY. NJPCA IS MANAGED/DIRECTED BY A PRESIDENT AND CEO WITH A STAFF OF 12 INDIVIDUALS. FQHCS OPERATED 136 SITES INCLUDING SCHOOL BASED SITES AND MOBILE SITES IN 21 COUNTIES, CURRENTLY SERVE OVER 500,000 INDIVIDUALS.
