THE WMIA PROMOTES AND FUNDS HISTORIC, SCIENTIFIC, EDUCATIONAL, AND INTERPRETIVE PROGRAMS ON THE WHITE MOUNTAIN NATIONAL FOREST (WMNF). THE WMIA CONDUCTS WORKSHOPS AND CLASSES, PROVIDES EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS, BOOKS, NEWSLETTERS, WMNF FOREST TRAIL PARKING PASSES, AND MAPS TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC AND WMNF VISITORS, PROMOTES CONSERVATION EFFORTS, AND FUNDS INTERPRETIVE PROGRAMS AT WMNF HISTORIC SITES IN ORDER TO EDUCATE AND ENGAGE VISITORS WITH THE GOAL OF MAKING THEM ACTIVE STEWARDS OF THE NATIONAL FOREST.
