THE CHEBEAGUE ISLAND HISTORICAL SOCIETY PROVIDES A PLACE WHERE PEOPLE CAN LEARN OF THE ISLAND'S HISTORY, VIEW PHOTOGRAPHS AND READ ARTICLES AND HISTORICAL DOCUMENTS. A BUILDING OWNED BY THE ORGANIZATION HOUSES THE HISTORICAL ARTIFACTS AND DOCUMENTS. ONLY 5% OF THE BUILDING IS USED FOR OFFICE SPACE.
