LEHIGH VALLEY HEALTH NETWORK (LVHN) IS THE PARENT ORGANIZATION CONTROLLING AND DIRECTING THE ACTIVITIES OF ITS SUBSIDIARIES. LVHN ACCOMPLISHES THIS THROUGH ITS BOARD OF TRUSTEES WHO APPROVES AND DIRECTS ALL SIGNIFICANT FINANCIAL, LEGAL AND ORGANIZATIONAL ISSUES OF LVHN AND ITS SUBSIDIARIES. THE LVHN BOARD OF TRUSTEES APPOINTS THE BOARD MEMBERS OF EACH OF LVHN SUBSIDIARIES. THE SUBSIDIARY BOARDS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR QUALITY CONTROL AND OTHER OPERATIONAL TYPE ISSUES.SUBSIDIARY ORGANIZATIONS INCLUDE HOSPITALS, PHYSICIAN PRACTICES, AND OTHER HEALTHCARE-RELATED ORGANIZATIONS.
