TO PROVIDE HOSPICE, PALLIATIVE CARE AND GRIEF SERVICES AS WELL AS EDUCATION CONCERNING ALL OF THESE THROUGHOUT CHEMUNG, SCHUYLER AND STEUBEN COUNTIES INCLUDING DIAGNOSTIC SPECIFIC PROGRAMS OF CARE WITHIN HOSPICE AND PALLIATIVE CARE, PERINATAL PALLIATIVE CARE AND PEDIATRIC HOSPICE AND PALLIATIVE CARE, AGE APPROPRIATE GRIEF SERVICES AND SUPPORT INCLUDING GOOD GRIEF CAMP FOR CHILDREN. ON ANY GIVEN DAY CAREFIRST HAS OVER 100 HOSPICE PATIENTS, OVER 150 PALLIATIVE CARE PATIENTS, AND CLOSE TO 1,000 GRIEF SERVICES CLIENTS RECEIVING CARING AND SUPPORT DIRECTED TO THEIR INDIVIDUAL NEEDS. DURING THE YEAR 779 PATIENTS WERE SERVED FOR A TOTAL OF 35,180 DAYS.
