THE NICHOLSON FOUNDATION (THE "FOUNDATION") WORKS TO ADDRESS THE COMPLEX NEEDS OF VULNERABLE POPULATIONS IN NEW JERSEY'S URBAN AREAS AND OTHER UNDERSERVED COMMUNITIES BY ENCOURAGING THE REFORM OF HEALTH, EARLY EDUCATION, AND HUMAN SERVICES DELIVERY SYSTEMS. THE FOUNDATION ACTS THROUGH PARTNERSHIPS WITH POLICYMAKERS, STAKEHOLDERS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS. IT CONVENES LIKE-MINDED AGENCIES AND ORGANIZATIONS, MAKES FUNDS AVAILABLE TO SEED NEW PROCESSES AND PROGRAMS, AND PROVIDES GRANTEES WITH TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE DURING PROJECT RESEARCH, PLANNING, AND IMPLEMENTATION.THE FOUNDATION BEGAN THIS WORK IN 2002. FOR THE YEAR ENDED DECEMBER 31, 2022, THE FOUNDATION UTILIZED THE SERVICES OF OUTSIDE CONSULTANTS IN ORDER TO ACHIEVE THESE GOALS.
