IN DOING, SO, NAON SEEKS TO IMPLEMENT PRACTICECHANGES BASED ON EVIDENCE-BASED PRACTICE, PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT ANDRESEARCH IN THE CARE OF THE ORTHOPAEDIC PATIENT; IMPACT PATIENTOUTCOMES THROUGH ADOPTION OF BEST PRACTICES AND INNOVATION; ANDCONTRIBUTE TO A PROFESSIONAL ENVIRONMENT THAT ENCOURAGES COLLEGIALITYAND NETWORKING AMONG PARTICIPANTS ASSOCIATED WITH ADVANCEMENT INORTHOPAEDIC NURSING EDUCATION, PRACTICE, AND RESEARCH.
