THE ORGANIZATION IS DEDICATED TO PROVIDING COMPREHENSIVE MULTIFACETED PROGRAMS AND SERVICES TO INFANTS, CHILDREN, AND ADULTS WITH DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES IN THE STATE OF NEW JERSEY. THE SERVICES INCLUDE SPECIAL EDUCATION, REHABILITATION AND MEDICAL CARE, AN EARLY INTERVENTION PROGRAM, AND VOCATIONAL TRAINING, ALONG WITH VARIOUS OTHER RELATED SERVICES TO ASSIST IN THE CARE OF THOSE WITH DISABILITIES.

THE ORGANIZATION OPERATES A PRIVATE SCHOOL IN CRANFORD, NJ. THE SCHOOL PROVIDES INTERMEDIATE AND SECONDARY PROGRAMS DESIGNED TO MEET THE COGNITIVE AND PHYSICAL NEEDS OF CHILDREN WHO HAVE MULTIPLE DISABILITIES WHICH MAY NOT BE FULLY MET WITHIN THE LOCAL SCHOOL SYSTEM.


THE CEREBRAL PALSY LEAGUE'S ADULT SERVICE PROGRAMS ARE DESIGNED TO ASSIST PEOPLE WITH A WIDE RANGE OF DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES. ELIGIBLE ADULTS MAY RECEIVE TRAINING IN BASIC VOCATIONAL, INDEPENDENT LIVING, AND SOCIAL SKILLS. PARTICIPANTS MAY CHOOSE FROM A VARIETY OF DAILY ACTIVITIES TAILORED TO MEET THEIR SPECIFIC NEEDS.


THE CEREBRAL PALSY LEAGUE'S KALEIDOSCOPE EARLY INTERVENTION TEAM WORKS DILIGENTLY TO ADDRESS THE VERY SPECIAL CHALLENGES OF PARENTS WHO HAVE DISCOVERED THAT THEIR CHILD HAS A SPECIAL NEED THAT MAY AFFECT HIS/HER DEVELOPMENT. THE TEAM SUPPORTS, ENCOURAGES, AND TEACHES PARENTS AND FAMILY MEMBERS THE STRATEGIES AND SKILLS THEY NEED TO ADDRESS THESE AS EARLY IN LIFE AS POSSIBLE.


DAY CARETHE COME, PLAY AND LEARN EARLY CHILDHOOD CENTER OFFERS DAY CARE SERVICES FOR CHILDREN 3 MONTHS TO 5 YEARS OLD. THE CENTER TAKES AN INTEGRATED APPROACH TO EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION, CREATING AN INCLUSIVE SETTING WHERE THE INDIVIDUAL AND DEVELOPMENTALLY APPROPRIATE NEEDS OF EVERY CHILD ARE MET UNDER THE DIRECTION OF A CARING, NURTURING AND PROFESSIONAL STAFF. TOTAL EXPENSES OF $548,560 AND TOTAL REVENUE OF $392,693.TRANSPORTATIONTHE CEREBRAL PALSY LEAGUE OFFERS TRANSPORTATION SERVICES TO DAY HABILITATION PARTICIPANTS SO THEY CAN SAFELY AND CONVENIENTLY ACCESS SERVICES, ACTIVITIES AND RESOURCES AT THE CENTER AND IN THE COMMUNITY. THE SERVICE PROVIDES CURB TO CURB PICKUP AND STAFFS EVERY VEHICLE WITH A MINIMUM OF ONE CDL DRIVER AND AIDE. TOTAL EXPENSES OF $327,469 AND TOTAL REVENUE OF $294,490.RESPITE CARE FOR CHILDRENTHE CEREBRAL PALSY LEAGUE'S RESPITE CARE PROGRAM IS A SHORT-TERM, CARE OPTION THAT PROVIDES CAREGIVERS OF CHILDREN WITH DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES, OPPORTUNITIES TO PARTAKE IN ACTIVITIES OUTSIDE OF PROVIDING CARE. THE PURPOSE OF THIS CARE IS TO ALLOW TEMPORARY, TIME-LIMITED BREAKS IN A MANNER THAT MAINTAINS THE LEVEL OF CARE NEEDED BY THE CHILD, WHILE ALLOWING THE CAREGIVER TO MANAGE OTHER ASPECTS OF THEIR LIFE. THE PROGRAM IS OFFERED IN THE CHILD'S HOME OR AFTER SCHOOL AT THE JARDINE ACADEMY. TOTAL EXPENSES OF $240.
