RED CLAY DANCE COMPANY IS A BLACK, FEMALE-LED, 501(C)(3) TAX EXEMPT FOR-PURPOSE ORGANIZATION THAT AWAKENS "GLOCAL" ARTIVISM THROUGH CREATING, PERFORMING, AND TEACHING DANCES OF THE AFRICAN DIASPORA. CHANGE THAT TRANSFORMS SOCIO-ECONOMIC AND CULTURAL IMBALANCES IN OUR LOCAL AND GLOBAL COMMUNITY.

CEEP-COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT EDUCATION AND PARTNERSHIP PROGRAMS. THIS IS THE ORGANIZATIONS DANCE EDUCATION PROGRAMS OFFERED IN SCHOOLS AND THE COMMUNITY FOR A FEE. THIS PROGRAM SERVICES 800 STUDENTS AND WAS HELD FOR 6 DAYS PER WEEK FOR A TOTAL OF 26 WEEKS.


THE PROFESSIONAL TOURING COMPANY IS CHICAGO'S PREMIER AFRO-CONTEMPORARY DANCE COMPANY. IT IS ALL-FEMALE, WITH A SEVEN (7) MEMBER ENSEMBLE THAT TOURS AND PERFORMS LOCALLY, NATIONALLY AND INTERNATIONALLY. THE CHOREOGRAPHIC WORK IS DESIGNED BY ITS ARTISTIC DIRECTOR AND GUEST CHOREOGRAPHERS. THE COMPANY ALSO PROVIDES MASTER CLASSES AND WORKSHOPS WHILE ON TOUR AS WELL AS IN-SCHOOL PERFORMANCES FOR LOCAL SCHOOLS.


THE RED CLAY DANCE ACADEMY IS THE OFFICIAL SCHOOL OF THE RED CLAY DANCE COMPANY. IT PROVIDES TUITION-BASED DANCE TRAINING FOR THE DANCE ACADEMY'S AFRO-DIASPORIC APPROACH TO DANCE EDUCATION AND INSPIRES GREATNESS IN ALL STUDENTS.
