THE PRINCIPAL PROGRAM OF CPS IS TO SAVE THE COLEBROOK STORE. SUBSTANTIALLY ALL OF CPS' EXPENDITURES HAVE BEEN DEVOTED TO THAT END: NAMELY, TO ACQUIRE, RENOVATE, MAINTAIN, AND INSURE THE STORE. A SECOND OBJECTIVE OF CPS IS TO LEASE THE STORE ON FRIENDLY TERMS TO A TENANT WHO WILL OPERATE IT AND RESTORE SERVICES TO THE COMMUNITY. ALTHOUGH RENTAL INCOME PAID TO CPS BY THE TENANT COVERS SOME OF THE COST OF MAINTENANCE AND INSURANCE, PUBLIC SUPPORT AND GRANT MONEY WILL BE NECESSARY FOR THE FORESEEABLE FUTURE.
