THE ORGANIZATION HAS BEEN ESTABLISHED TO HARVEST, PROCESS, AND UTILIZE UMBILICAL CORD BLOOD ("UCB") STEM CELLS FOR CLINICAL TRANSPLANTATION, MEDICAL RESEARCH, AND DISTRIBUTION, AND TO PROVIDE EDUCATION TO PHYSICIANS AND THE PUBLIC AT LARGE ON ADVANCES IN THE UTILIZATION OF UCB-DERIVED STEM CELLS FOR THE TREATMENT OF CANCER AND OTHER DISEASES.


BEGINNING IN 2014, THE ORGANIZATION PERFORMS LABORATORY RESEARCH IN CELL THERAPEUTICS WITH FOUR STUDIES CURRENTLY IN PROGRESS.


IN 2020, THE CORD BLOOD CENTER ESTABLISHED A CELL THERAPY INCUBATOR (CTI) TO DEVELOP NEW STEM CELL THERAPIES USING CORD BLOOD.
