1. THE FOUNDATION SUPPORTED THE KENNEWICK POLICE DEPARTMENT WITH DONATED $50 VISA CARDS IN THE AMOUNT OF $3,500 TOTAL TO HELP OFFICERS WITH DIFFICULT DOMESTIC VIOLENCE OR OTHER ACUTE SITUATIONS WHERE CITIZENS NEED TIME-SENSITIVE ANGEL FUNDING.


2. THE FOUNDATION SUPPORTED THE KENNEWICK POLICE DEPARTMENT FOUNDATION WITH A CHECK FOR $2,500 FOR THEIR HOLIDAY FOOD GIVEAWAY IN NOVEMBER OF 2021. THE MONEY WAS USED TO PURCHASE FOOD AND GIFT CARDS FROM A GROCERY STORE TO SUPPORT NEEDY FAMILIES IN THE BENTON COUNTY AREA. THE EVENT WAS A DRIVE THRU FORMAT FOR COMMUNITY MEMBERS.

THE FOUNDATION SUPPORTED THE SECOND HARVEST FOOD BANK WITH A CHECK FOR $1,000 IN FEBRUARY OF 2021 AND ANOTHER CHECK FOR $250 OCTOBER OF 2021 TO HELP THE ORGANIZATION SUPPORT 'FOOD INSECURITY' IN THE TRI-CITIES AREA AS THE COMMUNITY EMERGES FROM COVID-19 LOCKDOWNS. SECOND HARVEST IS A WELL-KNOWN FOOD BANK IN THE TRI-CITIES AREA.

THE FOUNDATION SUPPORTED THE MID-COLUMBIA MEALS ON WHEELS WITH A CHECK FOR $1,000 IN JANUARY OF 2021 AND ANOTHER CHECK FOR $250 OCTOBER OF 2021 TO HELP THE ORGANIZATION SUPPORT 'FOOD INSECURITY' IN THE TRI-CITIES AREA AS THE COMMUNITY EMERGES FROM COVID-19 LOCKDOWNS. MID-COLUMBIA MEALS ON WHEELS IS A WELL-KNOWN FOR THEIR OUTREACH MEAL PROGRAMS ESPECIALLY WITH SENIOR CITIZENS IN THE TRI-CITIES AREA.
