THE FINANCIAL MANAGERS ASSOCIATION OF NEW YORK IS A 501(C) (6) CORPORATION THAT PROMOTES COMMUNICATION AMONG FINANCIAL PROFESSIONALS OF NOT-FOR-PROFIT REHABILITATION AGENCIES AND ENCOURAGES AND DEVELOPS WORKING RELATIONSHIPS WITH THE STATE FUNDING AND REGULATORY AGENCIES (SED, OPWDD, OMH, OASAS). THE FMA IS A RESOURCE FOR ITS MEMBERS BY PROVIDING NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES AND EDUCATIONAL SEMINARS SPECIFIC TO DISABILITY SERVICE PROVIDER AGENCIES. IN 2021, THE EASTERN REGION HELD A CONFERENCE FOR ITS MEMBERS AND CENTRAL HELD THEIR SUPPORT CONFERENCE. THE ASSOCIATION DID NOT HOLD ITS ANNUAL CONFERENCE IN 2021.
