Part 3
SINCE 2003 BRIGHTMUSIC SOCIETY OF OKLAHOMA HAS BROUGHT EXCITING, LIVE CHAMBER MUSIC PERFORMANCES TO OKLAHOMA CITY AUDIENCES. DURING THE 2021-22 FISCAL YEAR, THE ORGANIZATION WAS ABLE TO RETURN TO IN-PERSON CONCERTS FOR 5 REGULAR SEASON EVENTS. EACH SUMMER BRIGHTMUSIC HOLDS A FOUR-CONCERT FESTIVAL. ADDITIONALLY, THE FESTIVAL FOR THE PREVIOUS SEASON WAS POSTPONED UNTIL AUGUST WHICH RESULTED IN TWO FESTIVALS FALLING IN THE CURRENT FISCAL YEAR. WHILE THE AUDIENCES HAVE BEEN SMALLER THAN PRE-COVID LEVELS, THEY HAVE BEEN GROWING THROUGHOUT THE YEAR. AS MEASURED BY INDIVIDUAL DONATIONS, SEASON PASSES AND SINGLE CONCERT TICKET SALES, AUDIENCE SUPPORT HAS CLIMBED TO 55% OF PRE-COVID LEVELS. OUTREACH TO STUDENTS, WHO ARE ADMITTED FREE OF CHARGE, HAS BEEN RESUMED AS WELL DURING THE JUST COMPLETED SEASON.
