IN 2023-24 PRO MUSICA COLORADO PRESENTED 3 CONCERTS IN BOULDER, COLORADO. EACH HAD A WOMAN COMPOSER FEATURE, INCLUDING A WORLD PREMIERE. ONE COMPOSER WAS NONBINARY, ANOTHER WAS AFRICAN AMERICAN COMPOSER, FLORENCE PRICE, AND FINALLY, THE UNJUSTLY NEGLECTED 19TH CENTURY FRENCH WOMAN COMPOSER, LOUISE FARRENC. WE PRESENT A PERFORMANCE OF HANDEL'S MESSIAH WITH A POPULAR COMMUNITY CHOIR AND FINISHED THE SEASON, AND OUR 17 YEAR EXISTENCE, WITH A BEAUTIFUL GUITAR CONCERTO. THERE WERE PRE-CONCERT TALKS OR OTHER EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS AT EACH CONCERT.
