TO ASSIST DISADVANTAGED UNITED STATES MILITARY VETERANS AND ACTIVE DUTY PERSONNEL THROUGH FINANCIAL AND EMOTIONAL SUPPORT; TO PROMOTE PUBLIC AWARENESS OF THEIR PLIGHT; TO PROTECT ALL INALIENABLE RIGHTS AND INTERESTS OF THE MEMBER AND THE PUBLIC TO THEIR MUTUAL ADVANTAGE IN MATTERS RELATED TO UNITED STATES MILITARY VETERANS, ACTIVE DUTY PERSONNEL AND OTHER ACTS AS MAY BE NECESSARY FOR THE AFORESAID PURPOSES; TO SUPPORT VARIOUS NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS WHO SUPPORT, EITHER DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, THE FAMILIES AND CHILDREN OF UNITED STATES MILITARY VETERANS AND ACTIVE DUTY PERSONNEL; TO CARRY ON PROGRAMS TO PERPETUATE THE MEMORY OF DECEASED UNITED STATES MILITARY VETERANS AND ACTIVE DUTY PERSONNEL AND TO COMFORT THEIR SURVIVORS; TO SPONSOR OR PARTICIPATE IN ACTIVITIES OF A PATRIOTIC NATURE; TO PROVIDE SOCIAL AND NETWORKING ACTIVITIES FOR THE MEMBERSHIP.
