STATE HEALTH INSURANCE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM - ASSISTS OLDER AMERICANS AND THOSE WITH DISABILITIES ON MEDICARE/MEDICAID ISSUES. PROVIDES TRAINING TO VOLUNTEERS TO ASSIST CITIZENS AT THE LOCAL LEVEL WITH THESE ISSUES. PROVIDES TRAINING TO THOSE WHO WORK WITH OLDER AMERICANS AND THE DISABLED ON MEDICARE/MEDICAID RELATED ISSUES.


MI HEALTH LINK - TO ASSIST IN THE IMPLEMENTATION AND SUPPORT FOR STATE DEMONSTRATIONS TO INTEGRATE CARE FOR INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE ELIGIBLE FOR MEDICARE AND MEDICAID. THE MI HEALTH LINK PROJECT PROVIDES OUTREACH, EDUCATION, OPTIONS, COUNSELING, AND PROGRAM ASSISTANCE TO INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE ELIGIBLE.


MEDICARE IMPROVEMENTS FOR PATIENTS AND PROVIDER'S ACT (MIPPA) - PROGRAM FUNDED BY AOA AND CMS TO IDENTIFY AND ENROLL MEDICARE BENEFICIARIES IN THE MEDICARE PART D LOW INCOME SUBSIDY AND MEDICARE SAVINGS PROGRAMS.


SENIOR MEDICARE PATROL PROVIDES TRAINING AND AWARENESS TO OLDER AMERICANS ON SPOTTING WASTE, FRAUD, AND ABUSE OF THE MEDICARE/MEDICAID SYSTEM.
