PROJECT TURN - A PARTNERSHIP WITH NC PRISONS AND DUKE DIVINITY SCHOOL TO OFFER GRADUATE LEVEL THEOLOGY COURSES TO STUDENTS FROM BOTH INSTITUTIONS. OFFERED FOUR COURSES AT THREE INSTITUTIONS IN 2016, IN WHICH 74 STUDENTS PARTICIPATED.
21ST CENTURY FREEDOM RIDE - A PILGRIMAGE TO VISIT SITES OF CIVIL RIGHTS HISTORY AND RE-LEARN THEIR LESSONS FOR TODAY'S FREEDOM MOVEMENT. IN 2016 WE HAD TWO FREEDOM RIDES WITH A TOTAL OF 67 PEOPLE.
WALLTOWN ASPIRING YOUTH - AFTERSCHOOL MENTORING PROGRAM FOR MIDDLE SCHOOL YOUTH FROM THE WALLTOWN NEIGHBORHOOD. THREE TEAMS OF 3-5 MIDDLE SCHOOL YOUTH WERE SERVED IN 2016.
