THE FOUNDATION SPONSORS MAJOR FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES SUCH AS SHAKE YOUR CABOOSE EVENT, NATIVE AMERICAN RUG AUCTION AND RAT ON THE STICK BOOTH AT THE RENAISSANCE FAIRE. THESE EVENTS ARE VERY SPECIAL IN RAISING FUNDS FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE FOUNDATION AND EACH OF THE MUSEUMS. THE FOUNDATION ALSO SPONSORS THE SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL ART SHOW AND PURCHASES ART WORKS FOR THE MUSEUM'S PERMANENT COLLECTION. THE FOUNDATION IS ONE OF THE SPONSORS FOR THE APPRECIATION EVENT FOR MUSEUM VOLUNTEERS, AND SPONSORS AN INFORMAL HOLIDAY LUNCHEON FOR MUSEUM STAFF AND VOLUNTEERS.
