THE WELCOME HOUSE IS A HOME FOR HOPE AND HEALING WHERE WOMEN WITH BARRIERS TO SUCCESSFUL LIVING CAN LEARN TO PUT THEIR PAST BEHIND THEM AND DISCOVER AND CREATE A NEW FUTURE. THE HOME WILL BE LICENSED FOR UP TO TEN WOMEN WHO ARE TRANSITIONING OUT OF TREATMENT PROGRAMS, JAIL, ABUSIVE RELATIONSHIPS, OR OTHER SITUATIONS THAT PUT THEM AT A GREATER RISK OF HOMELESSNESS. THE WELCOME HOUSE WILL PROVIDE SUPPORTIVE SERVICES FOR OUR RESIDENTS SUCH AS: MENTOR NETWORK, WORK READINESS AND PLACEMENT ASSISTANCE, INDIVIDUALIZED GOAL SETTING, FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT, LIFE SKILLS, SELF-CARE, COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS, NUTRITION AND COOKING HEALTHY MEALS, INDIVIDUAL ADVOCACY, HEALTHY RELATIONSHIPS, SPIRITUAL SUPPORT AND POSITIVE PARENTING.

PROVIDE A TRANSITIONAL HOME FOR ADULT WOMAN WHO ARE TRYING TO BREAK FREE FROM THE GRIPS OF ADDICTION, AND TO PROMOTE LONG-TERM SOBRIETY, STABILITY AND SELF-SUFFICIENCY. PROGRAM SUPPORT GIVEN INCLUDES SUCH THINGS AS: WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT, VOLUNTEER DEVELOPMENT AND COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS. THE CORPORATION ALSO OPERATES A THRIFT STORE WHICH IS USED TO HELP PEOPLE IN NEED ACQUIRE FURNITURE, CLOTHING AND HOUSEHOLD GOODS. WE ALSO HELP CONNECT THEM WITH OTHER SUPPORT AND RESOURCES WITHIN THE COMMUNITY. A HOME HAS ALSO BEEN PURCHASED TO HOME TRANSITIONING WOMEN.
