RESEARCH GRANTS: NFF APPROVED A GRANT TO THE JEWISH HEALING CENTER OF LOS ANGELES IN THE AMOUNT OF $20,000. THEY ALSO APPROVED AND DISBURSED $956,169 TO UCLA JONSSON CANCER CENTER. BOTH WERE FOR CANCER RESEARCH.


AWARENESS & ADVOCACY: FOUNDER NOREEN FRASER MADE TELEVISION APPEARANCES TO DISCUSS A NEW PHASE 1 TRIAL, AND MET WITH MEMBERS OF CONGRESS AND THEIR STAFFS TO ADD METASTATIC BREAST CANCER TO THE SURVIVORSHIP BILL. SHE ALSO DISCUSSED PRODUCING TELEVISION PSA'S REGARDING THE IMPORTANCE OF EARLY DETECTION WITH THEM.
