THE CHICAGO FREEDOM SCHOOL PROVIDED THE BELOW-LISTED ACTIVITIES IN ACCORDANCE WITH ITS TAX-EXEMPT PURPOSE:1. CONDUCTED PUBLIC WORKSHOPS REGARDING HISTORICAL TOPICS WHICH WERE ATTENDED BY SEVERAL HUNDRED ATTENDEES.2. THE YOUTH LEADERSHIP PROGRAM PLANNED, CONDUCTED, AND EVALUATED VARIOUS YOUTH-ORIENTATED ACTIVITIES WHICH WERE ATTENDED BY DOZENS OF YOUTHS.3. FREEDOM FELLOWSHIP PAID STIPENDS TO YOUTH AGES 14-18 TO ATTEND TRAINING CLASSES AND TO DEVELOP AND CONDUCT AN ACTION PLAN.4. CONDUCTED THE FELLOWSHIP SUMMER PROGRAM WHICH PROVIDED ATTENDEES A HISTORY OF CIVIL RIGHTS MOVEMENTS.
