IN 2022, THE MILNER AWARD PROVIDED TWO BOOKS TO EACH OF 915 5TH GRADE STUDENTS AT TEN TITLE I ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS IN THE ATLANTA AREA, WORKING IN PARTNERSHIP WITH ANOTHER NONPROFIT, PAGE TURNERS MAKE GREAT LEARNERS. STUDENTS READ AND DISCUSSED THE BOOKS IN THEIR CLASSROOMS AS PART OF MILNER'S READ2VOTE CAMPAIGN, WHICH CULMINATED IN THE VOTED-ON AUTHOR PRESENTATION TO STUDENTS IN SPRING 2023.
