OUR MISSION IS TO PROVIDE RECREATIONAL, SOCIAL, AND EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES FOR ADULTS WITH DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES AND TO HELP THEM DEVELOP AN ACTIVE, POSITIVE, AND INCLUSIVE LIFESTYLE.

DAYTIME SESSIONS ACTIVITIES PROGRAM - MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY WE OFFER DAYTIME RECREATIONAL (NON-MEDICAL) ACTIVITIES. OUR PARTICIPANTS PAY FOR THE SESSION (HALF-DAY) OR DAY AND GET TO SOCIALIZE AND PARTAKE IN WHATEVER ACTIVITIES SOUND FUN TO THEM. DURING THOSE DAYTIME SESSIONS, OUR ACTIVITIES INCLUDE: ARTS & CRAFTS, DRUM CIRCLE, CHAIR YOGA, KARAOKE, SELF-CARE & HYGEINE, BOARD GAMES AND PUZZLES, HEALTHY SNACK CLASS, COFFEE AND TEA SOCIAL, BINGO (NO CASH PRIZES, AND PARTICIPANTS PAY FOR THE SESSION, NOT TO PLAY BINGO), SCIENCE CLASS, AND OTHER ROTATING ACTIVITIES.

SKAGIT SUMMER SESSIONS - AFTER EXTENSIVE RESEARCH AND FOCUS GROUPS IN THE COUNTY NORTH OF US, ALL ABOARD DECIDED TO RUN A 6-WEEK SKAGIT SUMMER SESSIONS PROGRAM TO SEE IF WE COULD EXPAND OUR PROGRAM TO SKAGIT COUNTY. WE DID DAYTIME RECREATOINAL SESSIONS EXACTLY LIKE OUR REGULAR DAY PROGRAM IN EVERETT. AFTER THE SIX-WEEK PROGRAM, OUR BOARD OF DIRECTORS DECIDED NOT TO CONTINUE THE PROGRAM IN SKAGIT.


SNACK SHACK - ONE OF OUR PARTICIPANTS RUNS A "SNACK SHACK" DURING DAY SESSIONS. WE PURCHASE SNACK FOODS TO STOCK IT, AND THEN HE SELLS THEM TO PARTICIPANTS, MEANING HE GETS TO PRACTICE MONEYCHANGING SKILLS AND PARTICIPANTS GET THE OPPORTUNITY TO "SHOP."
