THE ROLE OF UPSTATE COMMUNITY MEDICAL, P.C. (UCM) IS TO PROVIDE A COMPREHENSIVE SOURCE FOR ACUTE MEDICAL CARE AND RELATED SERVICES TO ADVANCE THE MISSION OF UPSTATE MEDICAL UNIVERSITY OF NEW YORK. UCM WAS FORMED FOR THE CHARITABLE PURPOSE OF SERVING THE HEALTH CARE NEEDS OF THE COMMUNITY SERVICED BY THE HOSPITAL AND ADVANCING THE CHARITABLE PURPOSE OF THE UNIVERSITY.
