PROVIDE SUPPORT TO UTAH NATIONAL GUARD SERVICE MEMBERS THROUGH OUR PROGRAMS OF EMERGENCY RELIEF. INJURED SERVICE MEMBER SUPPORT, YOUTH PROGRAMS SUPPORT, ANNUAL VETERAN'S DAY PROGRAM AND THE NON-DENOMINATIONAL CAMP WILLIAM.

EMERGENCY FINANCIAL SUPPORT PROVIDING TEMPORARY FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO UTAH NATIONAL GUARD SERVICE MEMBERS DURING DIFFICULT FINANCIAL HARDSHIPS THAT THEY INCUR FROM THEIR SERVICE IN THE MILITARY. THE FINANCIAL HELP THAT IS GENERALLY PROVIDED IS HELPING TO PAY A ONE TIME PAYMENT OF MORTGAGE/RENT, UTILITIES, FOOD, AND IN SOME CASES, AUTOMOBILE PAYMENTS.


SUB FOR SANTA - EACH YEAR THE UTAH NATIONAL GUARD HAS MANY FAMILIES WHO ARE NOT ABLE TO PROVIDE FOOD, CLOTHES, OR TOYS FOR THEIR FAMILIES DURING THE HOLIDAY SEASON. GIFT CERTIFICATES/CARDS, TOYS, FOOD, AND MONETARY DONATIONS ARE RECEIVED AND DISTRIBUTED TO THESE FAMILIES.


YOUTH PROGRAMS - CHILDREN OF THE UTAH NATIONAL GUARD FACE A UNIQUE SITUATION IN THE SCHOOLS AND PEER GROUPS. TYPICALLY THEY ARE THE ONLY ONES THEY KNOW OF THAT HAVE ONE OR MORE OF THEIR PARENTS DEPLOYED FOR A YEAR OR MORE. THE YOUTH PROGRAM ACTIVITIES HELP TO BRING CHILDREN THAT ARE FACING THE SAME SITUATION TOGETHER. THEIR SHARED EXPERIENCES HELP THE CHILDREN COPE WITH THE PRESSURES THAT THEY FACE FROM BEING A MILITARY FAMILY.
