TO EDUCATE, COMMUNICATE ISSUES AND IMPROVE MANAGEMENT SKILLS. SPONSOR CONFERENCES FOR MEMBERS ON IMPORTANT TOPICS AND FUNCTIONS. DEVELOP NEW INITIATIVES TO MORE EFFECTIVELY MANAGE GOVERNMENT FUNCTIONS. RESEARCH NEW CONCEPTS IN ADMINISTERING COUNTY GOVERNMENT. CREATE AWARENESS OF STATE LEGISLATIVE ACTIVITIES AFFECTING COUNTIES WITH MEMBERS. PROVIDE DATA TO AND EDUCATE LEGISLATIVE MEMBERS ON ISSUES AFFECTING THE COUNTIES.
MARRIAGE INDEX:THE PURPOSE OF THIS COMMITTEE IS TO ASSIST THE LOCAL REGISTRARS WITHIN THE STATE OF MINNESOTA WITH ANY AND ALL MARRIAGE ISSUES. THE COMMITTEE IS ALSO RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY LEGISLATIVE CHANGES AFFECTING THE LOCAL REGISTRARS IN REGARDS TO MARRIAGES, WHETHER IT'S THROUGH SEEKING LEGISLATIVE CHANGES OR FOLLOWING LEGISLATIVE PRESENTED BY OTHERS WHICH AFFECT MARRIAGES.
DISCHARGE ACCESS DATABASE SYSTEM (DADS) IS A SECURE WEB BASED SYSTEM USED BY MINNESOTA COUNTY VETERAN SERVICE OFFICERS TO SEARCH AND REQUEST MILITARY DISCHARGE RECORDS RECORDED WITH MINNESOTA COUNTY RECORDERS.
