OPERATION OF LONG BEACH, N.Y., ANIMAL SHELTER:POSH PETS RESCUE HAS ENTERRED INTO A CONTRACT TO OPERATE THE LONG BEACH, NY "NO KILL" ANIMAL SHELTER. IN ADDITION TO OPERATING THE SHELTER, POSH PETS RESCUE HAS COMMITTED TO UPGRADING THE FACILITY WITH THROUGH GRANTS AND DONATIONS. OVER $107,000 OF IMPROVEMENTS HAVE ALREADY BEEN MADE. THE ORGANIZATION'S GOAL WAS TO PROVIDE THE SHELTER WITH IN EXCESS OF $100,000 IN NEEDED IMPROVEMENTS TO FACILITATE THE PROPER CARE AND PLACEMENT OF ITS CATS AND DOGS.
