WE WILL DO THIS THROUGH A BIBLE-TEACHING CHURCH, QUALITY EDUCATION, QUALITY HEALTHCARE, INSTRUCTION IN ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND AGRICULTURE. THE PURPOSE OF THESE INITIATIVES IS TO PROMOTE A BIBLICAL WORLDVIEW EVIDENCED BY A LIFESTYLE OF CHARACTER, LEADERSHIP, STEWARDSHIP, SERVICE, AND JOYFUL WORSHIP.

Describe the Organization's Program Activity:

Part 3 - Line 4a

BRIDGES OF HOPE CONTINUES TO SUPPORT THE EFFORTS OF HOPE VILLAGE IN RURAL LIBERIA WITH EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES. THE SCHOOL CONTINUES TO GRADUATE APPROXIMATELY 12-16 STUDENTS PER YEAR. THESE STUDENTS PASS THE WEST AFRICAN ASSOCIATION OF STATES (HIGH SCHOOL) EQUIVALENCY EXAM. FOR 2022, WE CONTINUED TO SUPPORT THE SCHOOL VIA SALARIES TO TEACHERS, AND REPAIRS AND IMPROVEMENTS TO THE SCHOOL AND TEACHER HOMES. THIS YEAR, BRIDGES OF HOPE ALSO BEGAN WORKING ON CONSTRUCTING SANITARY TOILETS FOR STUDENTS AT HOPE INTERNATIONAL CHRISTIAN ACADEMY.

BRIDGES OF HOPE HAS PLANS TO PROVIDE CHRIST-CENTERED HEALTHCARE FOR HOPE VILLAGE AND NEIGHBORING VILLAGES. A COMMITTEE WAS FORMED TO CONTINUE PLANNING FOR THE OPENING OF THE CLINIC. FUNDRAISING FOR THIS PURPOSE IS UNDERWAY BUT PROVES TO BE SLOW GOING AS THE MAJORITY OF OUR DONORS ARE COMMITTED TO EDUCATING CHILDREN. BRIDGES OF HOPE DOES SUPPORT HOPE VILLAGE IN RURAL LIBERIA WITH MEDICAL MISSION TRIPS AS WE DID IN 2021 AND HOPES TO ORGANIZE VOLUNTEERS FOR ANOTHER TRIP TO LIBERIA TO PROVIDE MEDICAL CARE.
