DISASTER RELIEF GRANTS - DISASTER RELIEF GRANTS PROVIDE FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO ANIMAL WELFARE ORGANIZATIONS WHOSE COMMUNITIES HAVE SUFFERED THE IMPACT OF NATURAL OR OTHER DISASTERS. GRANTS ALSO SUPPORT PARTNERING ORGANIZATIONS ASSISTING IN RESCUE, RELIEF, AND TRANSPORT EFFORTS. HOPE FUNDS -HOPE FUNDS PROVIDES FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR INCOME-QUALIFIED PET OWNERS WHO CANNOT AFFORD THE COST OF EMERGENCY VETERINARY CARE AT VCA. VCA ASSOCIATES MUST SUBMIT APPLICATIONS ON BEHALF OF QUALIFYING PETS AND THEIR OWNERS. ALL VCA HOSPITALS MAY PARTICIPATE.CONTINUED ON SCHEDULE 0. FIGHTING HOMETOWN HUNGER - DESIGNED TO HELP KEEP PETS IN LOVING HOMES, THIS PROGRAM HELPS FIGHT HOMETOWN HUNGER BY PROVIDING HEALTHY, NUTRITIOUS MEALS TO PETS THROUGH 25+ NONPROFIT PARTNERS WITH PET FOOD PANTRIES IN LOCAL COMMUNITIES ACROSS THE COUNTRY. IN PARTNERSHIP WITH HILL'S PET NUTRITION, NEARLY 500,000 MEALS ARE PROVIDED ANNUALLY TO PETS BELONGING TO PET OWNERS EXPERIENCING FINANCIAL HARDSHIP. COVID-19 ACCESS TO CARE GRANTS - PROVIDING FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO NONPROFIT ANIMAL ORGANIZATIONS, LOCAL/STATE GOVERNMENT AGENCIES, AND VETERINARY SCHOOLS HELPING SHELTER AND OWNED PETS IMPACTED BY COVID-19.READY FOR RESCUE - READY FOR RESCUE GRANTS HELP PETS FIND LOVING HOMES. BY SUPPORTING ANIMAL WELFARE ORGANIZATIONS WITH FINANCIAL SUPPORT AND THE RESOURCES TO READY PETS FOR ADOPTION, WE ARE HELPING REMOVE POTENTIAL BARRIERS TO PET OWNERSHIP AND CELEBRATING THE ROLE THAT PETS PLAY IN OUR LIVES.
