THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES SUPPORT TO WILDLIFE SOS INDIA FOR RESCUE AND CARE OF CAPTIVE ANIMALS SUCH AS ELEPHANT, SLOTH BEARS, ASIATIC BLACK BEAR, AND LEOPARDS IN INDIA. FINANCIAL SUPPORT INCLUDES FUNDING FOR ONGOING SANCTUARY OPERATIONS, MEDICAL EQUIPMENT, SANCTUARY EXPANSION EFFORTS, TRAINING PROGRAMS AND LEGAL ACTIONS.THE ORGANIZATION ALSO SUPPORTS CONSERVATION AND RESEARCH EFFORTS TO PROTECT THE WILD ANIMALS, STUDY THEIR NATURAL BEHAVIORS, AND REDUCE HUMAN/ANIMAL CONFLICT. SCIENTIFIC SUPPORT IS ALSO PROVIDED WITH EXPERTISE OF SCIENTISTS, PROFESSORS, AND WILDLIFE PROFESSIONALS FROM THE U.S.WILDLIFE SOS ORGANIZES AND SUPPORTS WORLDWIDE EDUCATION CAMPAIGNS TO IMPROVE CONDITIONS FOR BOTH CAPTIVE AND WILD ANIMAL POPULATIONS.
