THE FOUNDATION'S PRIMARY MISSION IS TO SERVE A CRITICAL ROLE TO PROACTIVELY INITIATE POSITIVE CHANGE IN THE AREAS OF AFFORDABLE HOUSING; COMMUNITY AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT; AND ARTS AND CULTURE. THE FOUNDATION IS FOCUSED ON OPPORTUNITIES WHICH PROMOTE LONG TERM SUSTAINABILITY, SUPPORT INNOVATION AND LEVERAGE SIGNIFICANT IMPACT. THE FOUNDATION'S MISSION ALSO INCLUDES ESTABLISHING A GRANT PROGRAM TO PROVIDE QUALIFIED LOW-INCOME INDIVIDUALS IDENTIFIED BY SOCIAL SERVICE AGENCIES WITH MONTHLY RENT ASSISTANCE SUBSIDIES. THE PURPOSE OF THE PROGRAM IS TO ENCOURAGE LIFE CHANGE BY CONDITIONING THE PROVISION OF HOUSING ON THE MAINTENANCE OF STABLE EMPLOYMENT, A STABLE HOME ENVIRONMENT AND BY REQUIRING THE GRANT AWARDEES TO REFRAIN FROM USING DRUGS AND ABUSING ALCOHOL. IT ALSO INCLUDES DEVELOPING AND FUNDING PROGRAMS TO COMBAT COMMUNITY DETERIORATION AND JUVENILE DELINQUENCY FOR THE BENEFIT OF LOW-INCOME CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES.

BRADFORD RUN PROVIDED 292 APARTMENT UNITS RANGING FROM 676 TO 1,480 SQUARE FEET FOR RENT TO LOW INCOME FAMILIES IN KOKOMO, IN. SECTION 8 VOUCHERS ARE ACCEPTED.


FOSTER'S LANDING PROVIDED 90 APARTMENT UNITS WITH AN AVERAGE UNIT SIZE OF 964 SQUARE FEET FOR RENT TO LOW INCOME FAMILIES IN NEW CASTLE, INDIANA.


BUCKINGHAM FOUNDATION MADE GRANTS TO 46 PUBLIC CHARITIES. PROMULGATED, SUPPORTED AND ENCOURAGED DEVELOPMENT, OPERATIONS AND SERVICES ASSOCIATED WITH THE PROVISION OF SAFE, DECENT AND AFFORDABLE HOUSING FOR LOW AND MODERATE INCOME INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES.


THE BUCKINGHAM ANGEL FUND, BUCKINGHAM CARES, BUCKINGHAM DAY OF SERVICE, AND BUCKINGHAM FOOD PANTRY ALL PROVIDE GOODS, FOOD, AND FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO LOW AND MODERATE INCOME INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES.
