WE PROVIDE EDUCATIONAL, EMPLOYMENT, SOCIAL AND RECREATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES FOR PERSONS WITH SENSORY AND/OR ENERGETIC SENSITIVITIES, AND LEARNING, EMOTIONAL AND/OR DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES.

FAMILY OUTREACH & RESPITE CARE: 25 CHILDREN WITH EMOTIONAL DISTURBANCES AND LEARNING DISABILITIES WERE PROVIDED WRAPAROUND, COMPREHENSIVE MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES IN THEIR HOMES/COMMUNITIES/SCHOOL. THESE SERVICES SUPPORTED THEIR EFFORTS TO REMAIN IN THEIR HOMES AND IN THE LEAST RESTRICTIVE SETTING POSSIBLE. A NEW APPROACH TO THESE SERVICES HAS CONTINUED, INCORPORATING MINDFULNESS AND ENERGY AWARENESS INTO TRADITIONAL MENTAL HEALTH APPROACHES.


EDUCATION, EMPLOYMENT, SOCIAL & RECREATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES: AN ENVIRONMENT OF TRUE PARTNERSHIP AND EQUALITY BETWEEN THOSE WITH AND WITHOUT DISABILITIES WITHIN OUR BUSINESS. PRODUCTS ARE DESIGNED BY PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS AND THE PROCEEDS RECEIVED FUND A VARIETY OF ACTIVITIES THAT ARE OFFERED FREE TO THE COMMUNITY AT LARGE, INCLUDING YOGA, ARTS/CRAFTS, COOKING, PRACTICAL MAINTENANCE AND SPORTS. IT HAS ALSO PAID THE RENT FOR THE CENTER EQUIPPED WITH TOYS, GAMES, ART SUPPLIES, COOKING SUPPLIES, SPORTS EQUIPMENT AND VIDEO GAMES. THIS PROGRAM ALSO ENABLES PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS TO BECOME AS FINANCIALLY SELF-SUFFICIENT AS POSSIBLE, SPECIFICALLY REDUCING RELIANCE UPON GOVERNMENT FUNDING.
