SERVED APPROXIMATELY 510 CHILDREN, CONDUCTED ASSESSMENTS TO ASSURE THAT THE CHILDRENS PHYSICAL AND MENTAL HEALTH NEEDS WERE BEING MET, THAT ALL SERVICES ORDERED BY THE COURT WERE BEING RECEIVED, AND APPEARED ON BEHALF OF THE CHILD AT COURT HEARINGS TO HELP MOVE ISSUES FORWARD TO SHORTEN TIME IN FOSTER CARE.
SERVED 39 CHILDREN WHO WERE AGING OUT OF FOSTER CARE. WE PROVIDED SUPPORT BY MAKING CHILD AWARE OF MEDICAID, HIGHER EDUCATION FUNDS, AND OTHER SERVICES AVAILABLE IF HE AGREED TO REMAIN UNDER THE SUPERVISION OF THE COURT. THE OBJECTIVE IS TO PREPARE THE YOUTH FOR LIVING INDEPENDENTLY.
