(COMFI WAS INCORPORATED ON OCTOBER 27, 2004 FOR THE PRIMARY PURPOSE OF RAISING FUNDS TO SUPPORT SPECIFIC CHARITABLE AND EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES OF THE CLUB OF MADRID (CDM), A SPANISH ORGANIZATON SERVING PUBLIC PURPOSES UNDER SPANISH LAW. CDMS PURPOSE AND PRIORITY IS TO STRENGTHEN DEMOCRACY AROUND THE WORLD AND ESPECIALLY TO ENABLE THE TRANSITION OF NON-DEMOCRATIC COUNTRIES TO DEMOCRACY. IT STIMULATES, PROMOTES AND CONDUCTS INITIATIVES AND ACTIVITIES, AND PARTICIPATES IN PROJECTS INTENDED TO ACHIEVE THIS OBJECTIVE.
