TO PROVIDE FUNDS FOR THE SUPPORT OF WEST GEORGIA MEDICAL CENTER, INC. AND ITS AFFILIATES. SUPPORT INCLUDES BEREAVEMENT SERVICES, HOSPITAL VOLUNTEER PROGRAM, CAMP DOGWOOD - A GRIEF CAMP FOR CHILDREN AND THE CANCER CENTER


TO PROVIDE FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO WEST GEORGIA MEDICAL CENTER, INC. FOR THE OPERATION OF THE HOSPITAL AND HOSPICE CENTER INCLUDING COVID CARE AND CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW CANCER CENTER.


HELPING HANDS FAMILY ASSISTANCE PROGRAM- TO ASSIST PRESENT AND RETIRED WEST GEORGIA HEALTH SERVICES, INC. EMPLOYEES AND HOSPITAL AUXILIARY VOLUNTEERS WITH FINANCIAL SUPPORT IN TIMES OF CRISIS. QUALIFYING HARDSHIPS INCLUDE CATASTROPHIC ILLNESS OR ACCIDENT SUFFERED BY A RECIPIENT OR AN UNINSURED LOSS TO A PRIMARY RESIDENCE CAUSED BY FIRE OR OTHER MAJOR INCIDENT OF DISASTER. FROM JULY 1, 2020 TO JUNE 30, 2021, THE HELPING HANDS PROGRAM ASSISTED 28 WEST GEORGIA HEALTH SERVICES, INC. EMPLOYEES BY PROVIDING $15,610 IN MONETARY ASSISTANCE.
