SERAPHIC FIRE STRIVES TO BE THE EXEMPLAR FOR QUALITY CONTRIBUTIONS TO PROFESSIONAL ENSEMBLE SINGING IN NORTH AMERICA.

SF SEASONIN THE 2023-24 SEASON, SERAPHIC FIRE (SERAPHIC) PRESENTED ITS 21ST SEASON OF CONCERTS IN SOUTH FLORIDA. SERAPHIC PRESENTED 41 PERFORMANCES OF EIGHT PROGRAMS IN FIVE COUNTIES ACROSS SOUTH FLORIDA SERVING A TOTAL OF 5,908 ATTENDEES. THE SEASON OPENED WITH A FREE COMMUNITY CONCERT THAT EXPANDED ACCESS TO NEW AUDIENCES AND CONTINUED WITH SEASON PERFORMANCES BY SERAPHIC'S UNPARALLELED ROSTER OF SINGERS AND INSTRUMENTALISTS AS WELL AS RENOWNED GUEST CONDUCTORS AND SOLOISTS. AS THE REGION'S ONLY PROFESSIONAL CHORAL ENSEMBLE, SERAPHIC CONTINUES TO MAKE STEADY PROGRESS TOWARDS ITS ORGANIZATIONAL GOALS TO PRESENT THE HIGHEST QUALITY VOCAL MUSIC AND CONTRIBUTE TO SOUTH FLORIDA'S GROWING REPUTATION AS A CULTURAL HUB IN THE US AND INTERNATIONALLY. CONCERTS WERE PRESENTED IN MIAMI, CORAL GABLES, BOCA RATON, FORT LAUDERDALE, WEST PALM BEACH, SARASOTA, AND NAPLES.
EDUCATIONEDUCATION PROGRAMS IN MIAMI-DADE, COLLIER, AND BROWARD COUNTIES SERVED 4,542 STUDENTS IN EDUCATION CONCERTS, IN-SCHOOL WORKSHOPS, RESIDENCIES, AND SUMMER PROGRAMS. THE CHORAL EDUCATION RESIDENCY (CER) TOOK PLACE AT SPANISH LAKE AND BENT TREE ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS. THE CER TEACHER - A DOCTORAL CANDIDATE FROM UNIVERSITY OF MIAMI - COLLABORATED WITH THE SCHOOLS' MUSIC TEACHERS TO PRESENT WEEKLY CLASSES FOR THE FULL ACADEMIC YEAR. ASSEMBLY-STYLE IN-SCHOOL WORKSHOPS WERE PRESENTED 3 TIMES THROUGHOUT THE YEAR AT 12 PARTNER SCHOOLS IN ALL 3 COUNTIES. EDUCATION CONCERTS WERE PRESENTED IN DECEMBER AND APRIL IN MIAMI, FORT LAUDERDALE, AND NAPLES. THE THIRD ANNUAL HIGH SCHOOL MASTERCLASS WELCOMED 50 STUDENTS FROM CORAL REEF SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL FOR A FULL DAY OF WORKSHOPS AND REHEARSALS AT FLORIDA INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY ON FEBRUARY 26, 2024. THE INAUGURAL HIGH SCHOOL PROFESSIONAL CHORAL INSTITUTE WAS LAUNCHED FROM JUNE 11-15, 2024, WELCOMING 41 RISING JUNIORS AND SENIORS FROM MIAMI-DADE COUNTY FOR A WEEK OF WORKSHOPS, REHEARSALS, MASTER CLASSES, AND MOCK AUDITIONS AIMED TO PREPARE STUDENTS FOR THE COLLEGE VOCAL PERFORMANCE APPLICATION AND AUDITION PROCESS.
