THE L'ETOILE DU NORD PARENT TEACHER ORGANIZATION HAD A BUSY AND PRODUCTIVE FISCAL YEAR. WE WERE ABLE TO ORGANIZE AND FULLY FUND OUR NATIVE FRENCH SPEAKING TEACHING INTERN PROGRAM, BRINGING FIVE INTERNS TO L'ETOILE DU NORD. WE ALSO HELD SEVERAL ALL-SCHOOL EVENTS INCLUDING THE FALL "CARNAVAL DES CITROUILLES AND THE SPRING "KERMESSE" FESTIVALS. WE ORGANIZED AND SPONSORED A MONTHLY OPEN GYM FOR STUDENTS. WE ALSO STARTED A BIPOC SUPPORT GROUP TO PROVIDE INFORMATION AND RESOURCES TO OUR DIVERSE COMMUNITY. WE ORGANIZED TWO BOOK FAIRS, AS WELL AS MULTIPLE TEACHER APPRECIATION MEALS. IN ADDITION, WE SOLD AND DISTRIBUTED SPIRIT GEAR AND HELD OUR ANNUAL CAMPUS BEAUTIFICATION EVENT. WE HELD SEVERAL IMPORTANT FUNDRAISERS, INCLUDING A DIRECT DONATION CAMPAIGN AND A GLOW RUN. WE SUPPORTED THE SCHOOL CELEBRATION OF NATIONAL AFRICAN AMERICAN PARENT INVOLVEMENT DAY. OUR DEDICATED TEAM OF VOLUNTEERS WORKED VERY HARD THIS YEAR TO ENRICH OUR SCHOOL AND STUDENT LEARNING.
