WE'RE ON A MISSION TO SAVE AND PROTECT BONOBOS AND THEIR RAINFOREST HOME - FOREVER. WE DO THIS THROUGH RESCUE, SANCTUARY, AND REWILDING, BY PARTNERING WITH LOCAL COMMUNITIES TO TACKLE ROOT CAUSES AND SAVE RAINFOREST, AND BY RAISING THE PROFILE OF BONOBOS LOCALLY AND GLOBALLY.

SUPPORT TO LES AMIS DES BONOBOS DU CONGO (ABC) NON-PROFIT IN THE DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF CONGO FOR THEIR LONG-TERM BONOBO CONSERVATION PROGRAMS: RESCUE, REHABILITATION, AND CARE FOR ORPHANED BONOBOS AT THE ONLY BONOBO SANCTUARY IN THE WORLD; REWILDING OF BONOBOS IN A PROTECTED RESERVE; COUNTRY-WIDE EDUCATION AND AWARENESS-BUILDING ABOUT BONOBOS AND THEIR PLIGHT; AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVES. MONTHLY PAYMENTS WERE MADE TO ABC IN FISCAL YEAR, INCLUDING GRANTS, DIRECT PAYMENT OF CONSULTANT FEES AND OTHER PROGRAM COSTS ON BEHALF OF ABC.
RAISE AWARENESS AND EDUCATE THE PUBLIC ABOUT THE PLIGHT OF BONOBOS IN THE US AND INTERNATIONALLY. SIGNIFICANT ACCOMPLISHMENTS INCLUDE: 1. REACHED APPROXIMATELY 50 MILLION PEOPLE THROUGH ONLINE COMMUNICATIONS INCLUDING VIDEOS, SOCIAL MEDIA POSTS AND WEBSITE, COMPARED TO A REACH OF ABOUT 11 MILLION IN 2019; 2. PRODUCTION OF OVER 25 VIDEOS ABOUT BONOBOS AND THE PROGRAM WORK OF LES AMIS DES BONOBOS DU CONGO; 3. COLLABORATION WITH INTERNATIONAL MEDIA PRODUCTION TEAMS TO PRODUCE FILM, TV AND RADIO SHOWS ABOUT BONOBOS AND THEIR PLIGHT.
