EVENT COSTS, INCLUDING TRAVEL, WORKSHOPS, ROUNDTABLES, AND SEMINARS ON FEDERAL AND STATE POLICY MATTERS.RGPPC EVENTS ARE HELD TO FACILITATE FURTHER EDUCATION AND AWARENESS OF GOVERNORS' STAFF AND OTHER STAKEHOLDERS ON POLICY DEVELOPMENTS IN THE STATES AND IN WASHINGTON D.C. THESE SYMPOSIUMS PROVIDE A FORUM FOR BEST PRACTICES DISSEMINATION ON ISSUES SUCH AS ENERGY, HEALTHCARE, EDUCATION, TRANSPORTATION, ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT, AND PUBLIC SAFETY. RESEARCH FINDINGS ARE BEST SHARED AT THESE EVENTS WHICH PROVIDE AN OPPORTUNITY FOR POLICY MAKERS TO SHARE THEIR EXPERIENCES AND INSIGHTS.
