PROVIDE MEALS AND SHELTER TO INDIGENT MEMBERS OF THE ROCHESTER COMMUNITY.

WE ARE A CATHOLIC WORKER COMMUNITY WHICH PROVIDES FOOD, CLOTHING, SHELTER AND SPIRITUALLY-CENTERED CARE TO ITS GUESTS. WE PROVIDE LUNCH & DINNER TO INDIGENTS IN THE COMMUNITY. WE ALSO OPERATE A HOMELESS SHELTER WITH 15 BEDS FOR MEN PROVIDING SHELTER FROM NOVEMBER THROUGH MID-APRIL. BECAUSE OF COVID WE DID NOT RUN OUR SHELTER PROGRAM IN 2020, AND STARTING IN MARCH WE ONLY PROVIDED BAG LUNCHES AT NOON AND A HOT MEAL ONCE A WEEK FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE YEAR. WE SUPPORT THE BORGNE FOUNDATION. THE BORGNE FOUNDATION IN HAITI IS A CATHOLIC WORKER HOUSE WHICH PROVIDES NOURISHMENT AND EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES TO BETWEEN 50 AND 75 IMPOVERISHED CHILDREN AND ELDERLY/DISABLED ADULTS.THIS PROGRAM IS ALSO SUPPORTED THROUGH CONTRIBUTIONS.
