OPERATION PETS IS DEDICATED TO IMPROVING ANIMALS WELFARE, BY PROVIDING HIGH QUALITY, AFFORDABLE SPAY/NEUTER SERVICES AND CLIENT EDUCATION TO THE UNDERSERVED POPULATION OF WESTERN NEW YORK.IN 2021, 8,718 SPAY/NEUTER SURGERIES WERE PROVIDED TO CATS AND DOGS IN WESTERN NEW YORK.ANIMAL STERILIZATION IS THE ONLY NON-LETHAL SOLUTION TO REDUCE THE HOMELESS AND ABANDONED CATS, DOGS AND FERAL CAT POPULATIONS. THIS METHOD MAKES EUTHANASIA NO LONGER AN ACCEPTABLE MEANS OF ANIMAL POPULATION CONTROL.
