MEMBERSHIP SERVICES - MEMBERS ARE AFFORDED THE OPPORTUNITY TO MEET AND SHARE IDEAS AND INFORMATION RELATED TO THE MEDICAL RECORD PROFESSION SUCH AS COMPUTERIZATION OF HEALTH INFORMATION, PROVIDING QUALITY HEALTH INFORMATION NECESSARY FOR THE DELIVERY,EVALUATION AND REIMBURSEMENT OF HEALTH CARE, AND TO BE AN ADVOCATE FOR PATIENTS AND THEIR RIGHT TO CONFIDENTIAL HEALTH INFORMATION. SEMINARS HAVE BEEN HELD TO UPDATE MEMBERS ON NEW DEVELOPMENTS IN THE MEDICAL RECORD FIELD AND TO IMPROVE MEMBERS SKILLS. ADDITIONALLY, PUBLICATIONS ARE PRINTED AND DISTRIBUTED TO MEMBERS TO PROVIDE THEM WITH INFORMATION REGARDING NEW DEVELOPMENTS IN THEIR PROFESSION.
