THE ANDREW AND ABBY SZOTT FOUNDATION WAS ESTABLISHED TO GIVE THE GIFT OF TIME BY ALLOWING A PARENT TO HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO STAY HOME AND CARE FOR A CHILD SUFFERING FROM LIFE-THREATENING CANCER. THE ACTIVITIES IN WHICH THIS IS ACCOMPLISHED INCLUDE MORTGAGE OR RENT PAYMENTS, MEDICAL COSTS THAT INSURANCE PROVIDERS WILL NOT PAY, AND ALLOWANCES PAID TO A FAMILY SO THAT A PARENT CAN STOP WORKING FOR A PERIOD OF TIME TO CARE FOR THE SICK CHILD.
