MWCF PLAYED A MAJOR ROLE WITH THE NORTH CAROLINA SECRETARY OF STATE, NORTH CAROLINA DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC INSTRUCTION, AND THE UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF STATE, THROUGH THE U.S. EMBASSY IN CHISINAU, MOLDOVA IN THE ACQUISITION, DOCUMENTATION, TRANSPORT AND DISTRIBUTION OF SCHOOLBOOKS AND HOSPITAL EQUIPMENT AND SUPPLIES RESTRICTED FOR EDUCATIONAL AND MEDICAL FACILITIES IN THE REPUBLIC OF MOLDOVA THAT ARE COOPERATING WITH THE NORTH CAROLINA - MOLDOVA BILATERAL PARTNERSHIP. MWCF ALSO RECEIVED HOSPITAL EQUIPMENT, MEDICINE, MEDICAL EQUIPMENT AND SUPPLIES, SCHOOL EQUIPMENT, FURNITURE, SOLAR POWER STATIONS, SATELLITE COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS AND SERVICES, MOBILE MULTI-SHOWER AND MULTI-TOILET BUILDINGS FROM DONORS IN OTHER COUNTRIES FOR MOLDOVAN AND UKRANIAN REFUGEE RECIPIENTS, AND CONTINUED SUPPORT OF AN ORPHANAGE AND NUMEROUS DESERVING STUDENTS WITH THEIR CONTINUING EDUCATION.
